An eight-year old Goshen girl was taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle accident Monday at the intersection of West U.S. 30 and North CR 800W, Warsaw.

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office accident report, Dustin A. Sloan, 37, Goshen, was traveling north on North CR 800W and came to the median. Sloan said he didn’t see a vehicle, driven by Mark A. Ady, 45, Smithville, Ohio, and proceeded across the westbound lanes of U.S. 30.

Ady’s vehicle was traveling west on U.S. 30 when Sloan’s vehicle pulled into Ady’s path, according to the report. Ady’s vehicle then struck Sloan’s.

Sloan’s vehicle continued north and struck a vehicle driven by Rachelle L. Norman, 33, East High Street, Etna Green, that was stopped  on North CR 800W, facing south.

All three drivers complained of soreness due to seatbelts and airbags, but refused EMS.

A passenger in Sloan’s vehicle, Olivia Sloan, 8, Goshen, was transported to a hospital for neck pain.

Estimated damage is $25,000 to $50,000.
