A spokesman for Governor Pence says the governor and his wife met with Donald Trump and his wife on Saturday. Pence spokesman Marc Lotter says the two couples had a “warm, productive” meeting before Pence returned to Indiana. Lotter said they discussed policies Pence has used in Indiana. But the spokesman said “nothing was offered” when asked if Trump discussed the possibility of Pence becoming his running mate. Other people of the possible V.P. list include former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions and Iowa Senator Joni Ernst.
