Grace College is receiving a $250,000 grant from the Kern Family Foundation. The Wisconsin-based organization helps efforts to educate pastors for U.S. churches.

The funding will go toward growing the Winona Lake school’s accelerated seminary degree program, which lets students earn a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies and a Master’s in divinity in five years.

The grant brings the total gifted to Grace College by the Kern Family Foundation to $450,000.
