Granger veterinarian in settlement talks with Indiana Attorney General

A Granger veterinarian facing claims of animal abuse is in settlement talks with the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, according to our partners in news at WNDU.

Dr. Jennifer Perusek of the Animal Clinic of Granger denies allegations listed in a 16-page administrative complaint filed by the Attorney General’s Office.

If her legal counsel does not reach a settlement with the Attorney General’s Office, the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners will hear the case.

Among the allegations listed in the complaint: that Perusek struck and choked cats and dogs, that she lied to customers that their animals had Lyme Disease, and that she over-charged customers she didn’t like.
