The Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation board of trustees has approved a grant from the K21 Health Foundation for biomedical science classes at the high school there. The foundation awarded the corporation a $28,237 grant to fund instructor training, classroom supplies and the implementation of Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences curriculum. There are currently 22 students signed up for the class for the upcoming school year. The high school is also planning to add a second-level course for the 2018-2019 school year.
