Groundbreaking Held For New Lincoln Elementary School

School officials, along with students broke ground on Warsaw’s new Lincoln Elementary School yesterday. The new building will be built on the same property as the existing school building, a block north of Center Street. The new school is expected to be complete a year from now. The current school was built in 1959, and the building itself has been suffering from rusting pipes, a leaking roof and a lack of space. Warsaw patrons voted in favor of a $39.9 million school improvement project referendum last November which includes the building of the brand new Lincoln Elementary.
