Headless Deer Found At Potato Creek

The Indiana DNR is investigating a case of deer poaching at Potato Creek State Park. This, after the grisly discovery of a headless whitetail deer carcass, Monday, south of New Road in North Libety. Conservation officers have few clues to go on, but they believe the deer was shot Sunday night or Monday morning and poached from the road. The DNR is offering a reward for information which leads to an arrest of the person or persons responsible. If you have information, call 1-800-TIP-IDNR.
