Hot, humid and dry weather is expected Monday and Tuesday.

The U.S. National Weather Service of Northern Indiana says heat indices will likely top out in the mid to upper 90s each day, though wind gusts of 15 to 25 mph during the late morning and afternoon may provide some relief.

A cold front will bring chances for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night into Wednesday. There is a low risk for severe thunderstorms Tuesday evening in far northwest Indiana.

Drier and less humid air then settles in behind this cold front by Thursday and Friday.
