Indiana Treasurer Daniel Elliott announced Wednesday that the Indiana Bond Bank has assisted the City of Warsaw with financing street department vehicles through its Hoosier Equipment Lease Purchase (HELP) Program.
The $1.6-million will buy six new snow trucks that the Board of Works approved in June. The HELP program assists Indiana communities in obtaining essential equipment through a lease-purchase process through standard-term leases with flexible repayment options at competitive rates.
The Indiana Bond Bank (IBB) was established as a self-supporting entity by the Legislature in 1984. A seven-member board oversees the Bond Bank, with the State Treasurer serving as the chair of the board.
