A ribbon cutting was held on Tuesday morning at Hoffman Lake Campgrounds to welcome in new management on site.

Stacie Anderson, along with her husband Brent, are now in charge of the grounds after taking over for other family members who were in charge in recent years. Stacie is the granddaughter of Bill and Bev Long, who opened the campground 57 years ago.

The campground season started in April and will go through mid-October. It features over 170 campsites that can be rented for as short as a weekend to as long as a full season. There are activities on the grounds for campers such as a swimming pool, bathhouses, basketball, mini golf and more.
