Hoosiers Have Say In EPA Rules

Hoosiers…. you can have your say, on the EPA's recently proposed carbon rules. The Environmental Protection Agency is taking public comments on its Clean Power Plan, which would reduce carbon pollution from coal-fired power plants. Supporters, like former E-P-A administrator Carol Browner says a decrease in pollution will bring significant health benefits. However, Indiana state leaders have voiced oppostion to the proposed rule saying the new limits would have a devastiating economic impact on Indiana since the Hooiser state gets 80% of its electricity from coal. Either way, your comments can be submitted online via the E-P-A's website.
