Indiana Job Rates

Last month alone, Indiana added nearly 10,000 new private-sector jobs, more than half of them in manufacturing.
Governor Mike Pence says we've added more than 66,000 jobs in the past year, and Indiana is up nearly 250,000 jobs since the worst days of the recession. That’s more than the population of Evansville and South Bend combined! And our jobless rate is below 6 percent for the first time since 2008. And we’re below the national average and well below Illinois, Michigan, and Kentucky.  Pence says, “those are truly exceptional numbers… but they’re more than numbers. The real impact is what it’s meant in people’s lives.” You can click on MikePence.com to learn more and to find out how you can help the continuation of job growth.
