Indiana Ranks Second Worst For Incarcerated Parents In The Country

I'ts not a ranking you want your state to have. Indiana has the 2nd highest rate of incarcerated parents in the country. And it has a significant impact on children, and it leads to instability at the household.  Bill Stanczykiewicz with the Indiana Youth Institute doesn't quite know exactly why the rates are so high, but believes a lot of it has to do with drugs. He says there's help out there and the state of Indiana has services to help families, as well as re-entry programs for adults who have been incarcerated.
