Former Indiana Schools Superintendent Tony Bennett has admitted to using state resources for political purposes. And now he must pay a 5,000 dollar fine for doing so. The settlement was agreed upon by both Bennett and Indiana's State Ethics Commission. The board voted unanimously for the settlement Thursday. State investigators found that Bennett was improperly using his power. Bennett did issue a statement acknowledging his “mistakes.”
