Indiana Senate Could Shift To Republican Control

While Indiana's Senators aren't up for re-elections, they are watching for possible changes in their roles. That's because the Senate could undergo a power shift from the Democrat to Republican control. That means changes in leadership in committees. The Indianapolis Star is speculating that Dan Coats could be given leadership of the Joint Economic Committee, where's the highest ranking Republican. Meanwhile, Democrat Joe Donnelly could have surrender leadership of a Senate Ag committee.  A spokesman for Coats says, he'll determine what he'll do next after the election and see where he can best serve Indiana.
