Indiana Student Hospitalized With Viral Meningitis

An Indiana second-grade student has been hospitalized with viral meningitis after collapsing on a school bus. The Delaware County girl collapsed as the bus pulled up to her house. After medics arrived and took care of the student, the bus was put into quarantine. Crews at the school then spent extra time cleaning hard surfaces throughout the building. A two-week spring break now underway will give crews even more time to clean. The district says there haven't been any reports of other children getting sick, but that symptoms could take three to five days to surface.
