Injuries reported in two US 30 wrecks within an hour early Saturday

WARSAW — Two crashes on US 30 within an hour of each other caused multiple injuries early Saturday morning.

The Times-Union reports one accident happened at about 2:50 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of US 30 and CR 150W involving a Ford Escape and a Ford Explorer.

Nearly an hour later, emergency responders were called to a crash involving a passenger van and semi on US 30 at Anchorage Road.

Initial reports indicated that a 2017 Ford Transit, carrying eight people, rolled over after the impact.

Multiple people were taken from the two scenes to area hospitals, according to information from WPD.

No further information was available Sunday.
