IVY Tech Struggling With Student Completion Rates

Indiana officials say Ivy Tech Community College could lose its status as a provider for workforce training and education programs if it doesn't improve student completion rates. The state funnels millions in federal Workforce Investment Act dollars to residents looking to improve their skills in the job market. Providers are required to meet minimum completion rates set by the State Workforce Innovation Council. An Indiana Department of Workforce Development spokesman says Ivy Tech isn't meeting those thresholds for some programs and that work is being done to bring Ivy Tech into compliance.
