On Thursday, September 24, 2020, the Kosciusko County Jail Chemical Addiction Program
(JCAP) received a generous donation from the Dane and Mary Louise Miller Foundation;
which has provided financial assistance to hundreds of charitable organizations and
educational scholarships to Hoosiers for nearly 40 years.

The $10,000 donation will be used exclusively to provide educational programming for JCAP
participants. “This is truly a blessing; we have struggled with funding for the past year and
grants are difficult to get at the State and Federal level. We are constantly working on it,
but it’s a slow and frustrating process. The Miller Foundation donation was an answer to
prayer, this money will be used to continue classes and services in JCAP. Without this
support we would have had to cut some classes, that’s something we never want to do.”
