K21 Health Foundation is issuing a grant to Serenity House.

The $105,000 grant will be a 3-1 match used to fund needed repairs and renovations to the three addiction recovery facilities that Serenity House operates in Kosciusko County.

K21 President & CEO Rich Haddad says each facility was constructed as a single family home and need remodeling and renovations to be used as recovery homes.

“Addiction recovery is difficult under the best of circumstances, and we know that quality and effective space matters.  It is our hope that making these important facility improvements will help Serenity House provide the best possible environment for its residents,” Haddad explains.

“Our challenge is to raise $35,000 in order to maximize K21’s grant,” Serenity House Manager John Kidd said. “In the simplest terms, every quarter donated to Serenity House for the renovations becomes $1. With the community’s help, we can raise the funds we need.”
