The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office’s Camp HERO is returning this summer.
Sergeant Chris Francis says the event will be held from July 6th-8th at the Blue Barn Berry Farm and Event Venue on County Road 300 East in Syracuse, located near Dewart Lake. The camp is open for those ages eight to 13, and those who attend will see presentations and demonstrations by EMS, SWAT Team, Bomb Squad, Local Law Enforcement Departments and K-9 units.
Topics include CPR, first aid, fire and water safety. The cost is $50, which includes breakfast and lunch. Applications are online at the Sheriff’s website here.
