Kerlin’s annual coat drive nets 1,244 items

WARSAW — Kerlin Motor’s annual coat drive recently wrapped up its annual efforts and had another strong turnout for it’s 25th year.

Two trailers containing 1,244 coats and jackets were delivered to Kerlin in Silver Lake and were on display Tuesday.

The coats hats, scarves, gloves and boots, will be donated to Combined Community Services of Kosciusko County for distribution.

Peerless Cleaners and Wildman Business Group will provide dry cleaning and laundering before the items are given away.

Other supporters included the Times-Union, Kensington Digital Media and the Kerlin Business Group.
