Small business is one of the key drivers of the American economy, and the woman who heads the U.S. Small Business Administration visited Indiana this week.

Linda McMahon visited small businesses in the Indianapolis area this week as one of five stops on her tour of U.S. Cities on National Small Business Week, according to Inside Indiana Business.

“I wish the rest of the country could see all of this, but it’s not really just unique to Speedway or to Indiana,” she told Inside INdiana Business. “There are many small businesses around the country who are starting different endeavors. Look at all of the little craft breweries that are popping up everywhere. It’s great and to see different kinds of businesses starting and growing. The tech industry, home services, just many businesses that start small. Often the CEO is the janitor and the CEO and the book keeper and every other thing.”

During her visit, the former World Wrestling Entertainment CEO called small business “the engine” and “the backbone” of the economy. During her visit, she wanted to reiterate that the Trump Administration will be different than President Barack Obama’s tenure and vowed to “revitalize the spirit of entrepreneurship” once again.
