Kosciusko County has moved back into red status for coronavirus spread in the latest update from the Indiana Department of Health.

The newest look at the Wednesday dashboard has all counties in Indiana, with the exception of 19, in the red status. Nearby counties that are in orange are Wabash, Fulton and St. Joseph counties. The update shows the Kosciusko County positivity rate at 20.8 percent, with 746 weekly cases of the virus per 100,000 residents.

Last week, Kosciusko County was noted as an “orange” county, but according to the IDPH, a county must have two consecutive weeks of orange numbers before the state will officially move a county down one level.
