The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department is warning of yet another phone scam. The crime initially begins with the suspect calling and claiming that a family member or employee is currently in jail, and needs bail money. The caller then asks the potential victim to forward money with a prepaid money card. The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department says they will never call to solicit bail money for anyone in jail. If you get a call like this, don't give them any personal information or money.
