Kosciusko County reports three more COVID-19 cases in Tuesday update

The Kosciusko County Health Department reported three new COVID-19 cases in their Tuesday afternoon update, bringing the county total up to 62.

No additional deaths or recoveries were reported, keeping those totals at one death and 20 recoveries. Up to this point, 42 of the 62 cases have been symptomatic, 10 asymptomatic and there have been nine hospitalizations.

The health department broke down the cases by age:
– 40-49 years old: 14
– 60-69 years old: 11
– 50-59 years old: 11
– 20-29 years old: 7
– 30-39 years old: 6
– 0-19 years old: 6
– 70-79 years old: 4
– 80-89 years old: 3
– 90+ years old: 0

1,262 tests have been accounted for in Kosciusko County according to the Indiana State Department of Health dashboard.

ON THE STATE LEVEL

481 new positive cases were reported, along with 57 deaths as part of 5,512 new tests. The number of positive cases in the state went up to 28,705 and the number of deaths is now 1,678.

A total of 189,330 tests have been completed, showing that 15.2 percent of tests have tested positive for COVID-19. That number is down 0.2 percent from Monday.
