The Kosciusko County GOP Party is announcing plans to fill the Etna Green Town Board vacancy. Todd Slabaugh announced he’d be resigning last week.

Because there are less than two people eligible to participate in a precinct committeemen caucus, GOP Chairman Mike Ragan will appoint someone for the role.

He says he will consult with Etna Township Republican Precinct Committeeman Steve Sechrist before announcing the appointment on April 4th.

Those interested in applying must live in Etna Green, be a Republican in good standing, and must not have a felony in their history.

Declarations of Candidacy, and Statements of Economic Interests, are available at the office of Kosciusko County Clerk of the Circuit Court, 121 North Lake Street, Warsaw, Indiana, and must be notarized and filed with the Chairman, no later than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the appointment, (or by 2 PM, Monday, April 1, 2019).

Ragan says they’d like to thank Slabaugh for his many years of service to the citizens of Etna Green.
