KCSD Press Release- With the tragedies and crimes that have been occurring throughout the country involving citizens buying and selling items on Craigslist and other on-line businesses, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department would like to remind citizens that our parking lot and/or lobby can be accessed for potential arrangements. In today’s world, it is unknown the type of individuals that you might be encountering. This is not an offer of participating with the business transaction, but simply an effort to provide a safe and secure area for our citizens, which includes video recording of county property. This offer also is extended to individuals who conduct the exchange of children as part of a divorce decree or shared parenting agreement. We ask that individuals entering into the lobby area of the sheriff’s department notify the jail division staff of your presence and circumstances.
