LAGRANGE — A confinement officer was arrested on sexual battery charges earlier this week.

Indiana State Police say a complaint was made in mid-November about misconduct inside the LaGrange County Jail.

After a brief investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Jaden Boyd, 21, of LaGrange. He had been working at the county jail as a confinement officer.

He was found at his home and taken into custody.

The news release does not give anymore detail about the sexual misconduct that occurred within the jail.

Jaden Boyd is currently being held in the Steuben County Jail. The official charge is sexual misconduct with a service provider, a level 5 felony.
