The Lake City Lions are celebrating 100 years of service with a legacy project at Grace College.

The Warsaw-based club installed a park bench on Heritage Trail to commemorate the milestone.

The celebration comes ahead of their White Cane Day, which will be this Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Club members will be handing out mints and information at Owen’s on Center Street.

The goal is to educate the public about blindness and honor contributions made by people who are blind or visually impaired.
