Lifeguard Tests Are Online For Interested State Park Applicants

Lifeguarding tests are online for applicants seeking positions at Indiana State Parks facilities during the 2015 recreation season. The test is for first-year applicants only. First-year applicants must pass the test as part of the job application. Candidates who have already worked at a state park facility are exempt from this requirement. The test is 50 questions, with approximately half of the test covering CPR and first aid, and half covering lifeguarding knowledge and training. The successful applicant must score at least 70 percent. A link to the test and application information for both first-year and returning candidates are at stateparks.IN.gov/lifeguardtest.
