Man’s Body Found In Plymouth River

A coroner says DNA testing will be needed to confirm the identity of a man whose body was found in northern Indiana's Yellow River. Plymouth police say preliminary autopsy results determined the man died from accidental drowning. Authorities say people canoeing on the river spotted the body Thursday in the city of Plymouth. Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger tells WSJV-TV that no signs of foul play were found but the level of decomposition prevented an immediate identification. Plymouth police say a 61-year-old man was reported missing the same day the body was found. The person who reported the missing man said he was last seen two days earlier.
