MCS Announces Kyle Wieland As New Superintendent

TIMES UNION REPORTS – Manchester Community Schools introduced Kyle Wieland recently as the new superintendent of schools.

Wieland is a 1994 graduate of Manchester High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Indiana University and his master’s and specialist’s degrees from Ball State University.

He began teaching math and coaching various sports at Manchester High School until taking the athletic director’s position in 2007.

Wieland left Manchester in 2011 and spent the next 10 years in various administrative positions at Wabash City School, serving the last six years as principal at Wabash High School.

He, his wife Julia and their children Austin and London live in North Manchester.

“We welcome Kyle back to Manchester Schools and look forward to his leadership and continuing the quality that Manchester Community Schools represents,” a news release from MCS concludes.
