Medical device tax could be suspended for another 5 years

The medical device tax suspension could soon be extended. The tax took effect in 2013 but was suspended 2016 through 2019.

An additional five-year suspension has been proposed as part of a tax reform package to be considered by the House.

Indiana Congressman Jim Banks supports the suspension, saying the return of the medical device tax could jeopardize Hoosier jobs.

It would especially have an impact for the orthopedic industry in Warsaw.
