Mentone Man Arrested For Alleged Child Molestation

A Mentone man was arrested Monday night on allegations of having sexual relations with his stepdaughter who is a minor. 36 year old Brian Charles Grosch of Mentone was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail Monday night. He is charged on count 1 child molesting, a class A felony. According to a probable cause affidavit from the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s office, on July 14th the minor’s mother contacted Child Protective Services and advised her that her now 10-year-old daughter had  informed her that her stepfather, Brian Grosch, had molested her. On July 17, Child Protective Services spoke with the minor who advised  in 2010 when she was 6 she was in her mother’s and stepfather’s bedroom and Grosch removed her clothing while she was lying on the bed. She advised him not to tell her mother. She further advised when she was 7 Grosch called her into his bedroom and asked her to pull her pants down. She said she ran out of the room. According to the affidavit, in Spring 2014 she was riding a Ranger ATV with Grosch and they went through the woods and hit a bump and Grosch  tried to place his hand under her shorts. She said another time he exposed himself to her. He's being held on a $50,000 bond.
