Mishawaka Woman Kicked Out of Convenience Store over Service Dog

A woman in Mishawaka who has epilepsy says she was kicked out of 7-Eleven convenience store this week because she had a service dog with her.

In a video posted to Candace Mace’s Facebook page a man who says he’s the owner of the store is seen telling her to “this is my property, I can do what I please on my property.” He then tells her to “take the dog and go outside.”

Indiana state law says people with a disability who require a service dog and have documentation must be allowed into all public places, including stores, businesses, motels, restaurants, and theaters.
