WARSAW — Kosciusko County avoided the worst of a storm that caused heavy damage to parts of Illinois and Indiana Tuesday night, but heavy rains led to a brief flash flood warning for North Webster, Milford and Syracuse.
The warning expired at 6 a.m., but the National Weather Service predicted more heavy, localized rainfall was possible Wednesday morning.
The weather service said most of the rain totals overnight were 1-2 inches, but that an area near Ligonier reported 4.31 inches.
