WARSAW — More rain is in the forecast for the weekend for parts of northern Indiana.
The National Weather Service said there is a moderate risk for excessive rainfall Saturday south of US 30.
There is also a flood watch in effect over the area through tonight.
The ground south of US 30 is already so saturated that renewed flash flooding is likely to occur with multiple rounds of heavy rain and storms, the weather service said.
Rain rates could exceed 1-2 inches per hour at times.
The chance of rain Saturday is 60 percent. The high will be 79.
The chance of rain Sunday is 70 percent, and the high will be near 83.
Sunny skies are in the forecast for Monday.
