National Guard Holding Auction

People looking to buy a mobile home can get one for as little as $25. The Indiana National Guard's Camp Atterbury will auction off more than 200 surplus duplex mobile homes. The homes were used by soldiers at the base for training before overseas deployments. The Daily Journal reports they're no longer needed since deployment training slowed last year. The first group of 51 mobile homes is going up for online auction this week at www.govliquidation.com with starting bids of $25. Bidding ends at 5?p.m. Friday. Organizers say bidders are encouraged to look at photos of the homes because some need more work than others. The homes are 60 feet long and 14 feet wide. Winning bidders are responsible for towing the homes from Camp Atterbury.
