This weekend is the 9th National Prescription Drug Take Back day, but Hoosiers will be able to return unused prescriptions to pharmacies year-round instead of waiting for the periodic events. President Obama signed a law four years ago repealing Drug Enforcement Administration requirements that only police or D-E-A agents could receive and dispose of leftover medications, but it‘s taken the D-E-A until now to finalize rules to let drugstores handle it themselves.
