A new tornado siren has been placed in Warsaw. its located on Shelden Drive north of Kohls to better serve the northwest side of the city.
Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Chief Mike Wilson tells News Now Warsaw the siren is still being tested.
“The whole thing with the City of Warsaw and the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory is we wanted this siren placed to protect early warning on the north side of the city of Warsaw,” he explains.
The siren is expected to go into service within the week.
