New traffic signals will be coming to a stretch of State Road 15.

The Indiana Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin work at seven different intersections today, which will include new poles and signals, along with ADA-compliant pedestrian crossings.

New signals will be installed at Prairie Street, both of the Winona Avenue intersections, then Market, Center, Main and Fort Wayne Streets. Officials say the existing signals will still be used for the time being, but there may be traffic delays during the work.

While pedestrian ramps are being replaced, there will be no pedestrian access at that intersection for several days.
