No new COVID cases in Kosciusko County on Saturday ISDH update

The Saturday update showed no increase in the number of positive COVID-19 cases in Kosciusko County.

The Indiana State Department of Health dashboard shows the county at 71 positive cases, but county health officials indicated that number is three higher than what the county is reporting. This comes as the ISDH report included one duplicate case, and two people not from Kosciusko County (one from Elkhart County, the other from Noble County).

The total number of tests completed in Kosciusko County is now 1,425.

On Friday, the Kosciusko County Health Department reported 68 positive cases and 30 recoveries.

ON THE STATE LEVEL

513 new positive COVID-19 case were reported by the state, along with 21 new deaths.

The total number of positive cases is now 30,901 and the total number of deaths is 1,812.

This comes on 6,423 new tests reported and the total number of tests completed in the state is 214,933. The percentage of positive cases in Indiana is now 14.4 percent, down 0.2 percent from Friday.
