Noble, Steuben among counties getting $80-million in INDOT grants

NOBLE COUNTY — Noble and Steuben Counties will receive millions of dollars in grant money from the Indiana Department of Transportation for road and bridge projects.

The grants are part of nearly $80-million going to 64 cities, towns and counties across Indiana for road and bridge improvements, plus sidewalks and trails, according to an INDOT press release,

Combined with local funds, almost $135-million is going to infrastructure in the counties receiving funds. That includes $1.7-million for a bridge replacement in Noble County and $2.1-million for rebuilding County Road 200 North in Steuben County.
