One month away from the first football game of the 2014 season, the FieldTurf installation is now complete at Notre Dame Stadium, minus a few details. Constructions workers are packing up their gear and trucks as Notre Dame transitions from natural grass to a synthetic surface for the first time in the history of the iconic stadium. Notre Dame begins practice for the upcoming season Monday at 11:00 a.m. The Irish will practice off site for the first five days of camp. They return for their first practice on campus on Saturday, August 9th. The season opener on the brand new FieldTurf is August 30th at 3:30 p.m. against Rice.
