One Injured In Warsaw Crash, Causing Power Outages

One person was injured in a crash on the south side of Warsaw last night, causing some residents in the area to lose power for several hours. According to police, 20 year old Jonathan S. Hopkins was driving his Dodge Dart north bound on S.R 15 around 8:19pm when he drove off of the east side of the road for an unknown reason, hitting a NIPSCO pole before coming to a stop. A small grass fire broke out due to live electrical wires. Hopkins was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne with a leg injury. Hopkins told police he fell asleep, causing him to drive off of the road.
