A 1-year-old child was hospitalized in critical condition after being pulled from the Lake of the Woods in Marshall County.
It happened during a birthday party around 8:10 p.m. on Saturday in the 4100 block of Lake Shore Drive near Bremen, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Relatives found a back door to the home had been opened and found the child floating in the water, the DNR stated.
The child had been missing for about 5 to 10 minutes, the DNR stated.
The child was unresponsive and was take to St. Joseph Medical Center.
