WARSAW — The public will have a chance to see plans for a proposed festival street in downtown Warsaw during an open house on Wednesday afternoon.

Landscape architecture firm Anderson Bolander has been working on a design for a festival street in the 100 block of North Buffalo Street in downtown Warsaw and will unveil initial plans in a series of focus group meetings with downtown stakeholders on Wednesday and is seeking input.

A public open house will also be conducted from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday following the group meetings.

The open house will take place at the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, located at 523 S. Buffalo St.

The meetings will help facilitate a final design that addresses any concerns and reflects what downtown stakeholders and the community would like to see, according to a news release.

Creating a festival street was one of the most requested public investments that came out of the Downtown Warsaw Cultural District Arts Plan, which was released in November 2025.

The design work by Anderson Bolander is the first step in creating the infrastructure project and will develop the design and construction estimates, enabling the City of Warsaw to pursue funding.
