WARSAW — NIPSCO will close the bridge on Husky Trail to all traffic beginning on Monday, February 16, in order to connect a gas main following the recent bridge replacement project.
The city of Warsaw said in a news release that the bridge and roadway are expected to be closed for approximately 2.5 weeks.
After that work is complete, the road will be temporarily patched with concrete. A NIPSCO contractor will then return in the spring to resurface the work area after asphalt plants have reopened.
Residents are encouraged to plan additional travel time and alternate routes during this closure.
