WARSAW — Rain and record-matching temperatures on Tuesday combined for plenty of patchy fog across the area.

But Meteorologist Matt Rudkin predicts the fog will break up as temperatures fall into the 30s.

The temperature in Warsaw reached 60 Tuesday afternoon, matching the record.

He said fog will dissipate as temperatures slowly fall.

“But until we get back into 30s and 40s visibility will be lower than usual,” Rudkin said.

Tuesday’s warmth follows extreme cold conditions just ten days ago that saw temps dip below zero and wind chills reaching minus 30.

On Facebook, Rudkin described the back-to-back extremes as an “insanely remarkable feat.”

High temps are expected to stay in the 30s beginning Thursday
